Yves Navarre literary manuscripts and letters, 1959-1982.

The collection contains letters from Yves Navarre to John Robert Kaiser, Penn State librarian, concerning his manuscripts, programs and a poster for some of his plays, and holograph and typescript manuscripts for novels (Abel Devilsworth, Drummond, Évolène, Kurwenal, Lorsque le soleil tombe, Les loukoums, Le petit galopin de nos corps, Panier de plumes, Le souper des loups), his diary (September 1972), a pamphlet (Lettre ouverte a une republique de Pantouflards), two poems, a film script (Les petite plaisirs). Also, plays (September song, Freaks society, Dialogue de sourdes, Il pleut si on tuait papa-maman, The true story of Shanghai Lily, La voleuse de bigoudis), and manuscripts for Pretty toys of liberty, Satanese hotel, Sin-king city, and Une village a la place du coeur; and photocopied clippings about Navarre and his works. Includes photographs of Navarre.
